Surat Multi-purpose Health Service (MPHS) is located in the South West Hospital and Health Service (SWHHS). It is located approximately 443 kilometres west of Brisbane and 78 kilometres from Roma in the Maranoa planning region.
The Surat Medical Practice provides locum GP on a two week rotation. The practice has the ability to employ a medical superintendent with the right to private practice, however has been unable to fill the position for the last two years.
