Chris has a very strong connection with the bush – growing up on the family cattle property “Deearne” in the Taroom / Eidsvold districts – and significant Board experience, having been the President and Chair of the Legacy Club of Brisbane Ltd, a Director of Legacy Australia and is a recent appointee to RSL Queensland’s Governance and Awards Committee.

Chris is currently the Chief Executive Officer of RAPAD Employment Services Queensland (RESQ Plus Pty Ltd.) and is responsible for delivery of its Community Development Program across South West and Central Western Queensland. The program provides quality employment, training and education opportunities for a diverse range of people, including Indigenous and the disabled.

Chris has also extensively served in the Australian Army and Army Reserve in both full and part time positions. His full-time roles included senior leadership positions in project management, training and infrastructure development in Canberra and Brisbane as well as Southeast Asia and the Southwest Pacific. Currently, he continues to act as Colonel Commandant of the North West Mobile Force and the Pilbara Regiment, sits on the Premier’s Queensland Veterans Advisory Council and serves as Aide-de-Camp to the Governor General.

He has an MBA in Human Resource Management and Marketing, a Bachelor and Diploma of Applied Science, a Diploma in Leadership and Management and an Associate Diploma in Horticulture. He is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
