What websites can’t be viewed and why?

Due to network capacity, streaming websites for movies, radio, TV and other on-demand content such as Netflix, while not blocked, are limited in service quality.

Wireless access provided by the South West Hospital and Health Service is to be used in a fair and community-minded manner. The Health Service reserves the right to limit or block certain websites and/or content that is deemed inappropriate in a hospital environment.


The South West Hospital and Health Service will only collect, use and store your personal information for the purposes of delivering wireless internet access in accordance with the applicable legislation and the Terms of use. IP and MAC addresses of all devices that access the Wi-Fi service will be collected and stored, once you have agreed to the Terms of use.

As this is a free service open to the general public, the South West Hospital and Health Service cannot guarantee the security of the Wi-Fi service at all times. Access and use of this network is at your own risk.
